This is a great opportunity for recent college graduates or for those who want a change in their careers to further their education and experience! The intent of our AmeriCorps VISTA program is twofold: VISTAs will not only be involved with the design and content of our messaging, but the formation of our overall outreach and enrollment strategies. This involves a branding process at the local level with the initial focus on identity evaluation and audience mapping. VISTAs will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a well-structured resource development strategy to identify, access, and sustain adequate capacity and revenue to address JRMC's short- and long-term programmatic, operational and capital priorities. VISTAs will also be placed at Host sites where they will dedicate part of their time to collaboration building and the remaining of their time to the development capacity relevant to the Host Site's programs. Our Host Sites include: 1) The Jewish Renaissance Foundation 2) The Boys & Girls Club of Perth Amboy 3) The City of Perth Amboy - Department of Community & Economic Development 4) PARTNER (nonprofit subsidiary of the Perth Amboy Housing Authority) 5) YMCA of Greater Raritan 6) Jewish Renaissance Community Development Corporation

Member Duties : - Assisting in building the board and organizational infrastructure to implement an effective marketing and communications program - eliciting the perspectives of front-line personnel in the development of our marketing & communications strategies - assisting in forming targeted cause-related marketing campaigns with existing corporate partners in or near our service areas - expanding efforts to improve our grassroots-based engagement strategy - ensuring each of our program sites has an up-to-date, detailed listing on resources and services for residents of our service areas - assisting in identifying key strategic partnerships that will yield reciprocal marketing benefit for JRMC and the parties identified - build our income-generating capacity associated with achieving our Healthy Futures Focus Area/Access to Care goal - facilitate development audit - conduct return on investment analysis of current fundraising events
