| Member Duties : In a largely rural and low income region, Better Together aims to collectively break the cycle of poverty for youth and families by ensuring equitable access and connection to high quality educational opportunities from cradle to career. Kids Club of Jefferson County is dedicated to offering safe, educationally enriched after school care for the youth in the community. The goal of this VISTA assignment is to develop and implement a STEM enrichment lab and program that connects youth to real life STEM learning and careers through an after school platform.
