Arizona Serve - Community Food Bank Food Resource Developer

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona (CFB) provides immediate food crisis relief to children, families, and the elderly across Southern Arizona. In addition to supporting clients in gaining consistent access to sufficient food, CFB also offers gardening programs, culinary job training, SNAP (food stamp) application assistance and other services that help lift persons out of poverty and onto a path of financial stability. When founded in 1976, the CFBSA began providing food for 500 meals per day. Forty years later, the CFB provides enough food for 98,500 meals per day and serves a total of 225,000 hungry, low-income men, women and children per month throughout a 23,100-square-mile area. The primary responsibility of the VISTA is increasing healthy food donations by focusing on building the capacity of agency partners to rescue and distribute more food, strengthening current food donor relationships, building new relationships with food donors and agency partners, and developing practices for sustaining relationships into the future. **Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, please apply immediately for consideration.**
