ShareCorps-Potter's House-Summer Associate
 
 
 
The Potter's House Ministries has a food pantry, senior boxes, summer feeding program, program to increase fresh produce within out community, program for foster children Christmas. We also do benefit applications: HEAP, food stamps, medical, ACA, etc. and a year around free tax service. We strive to try to be a one stop shop for our clients. *This is a VISTA sub-site of the Ohio Association of Foodbanks ShareCorps project.

Member Duties : The VISTA members will be providing a safe place for children to be able to have breakfast, lunch and a snack, along with fun activities. They will assist our organization in creating/executing lesson plans for the camp activities, they will assist in the scheduling and planning of any off-site activities (field trips), they will plan/research kid-friendly healthy snacks, assist with the breakfast and lunch daily service, assist with the proper distribution of the backpack program, plan and coordinate our 'end of summer bash' including soliciting donations for school supplies and children's clothing.
