2016-17 Habitat Resource Development- River Falls, WI

Habitat for Humanity's vision is a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Nearly 20% of Wisconsin residents pay more than 50% of their family income for housing. With a growing need for affordable housing in our state, the 39 local Habitat for Humanity affiliates are working hard to address that need by partnering with low-income families to build, rehab or repair homes. The Habitat for Humanity of Wisconsin VISTA program’s goal is to strengthen affiliate and increase their capacity. With passion, commitment, and hard work our VISTA members help affiliates as they bring individuals and communities out of poverty. St Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and to making adequate, affordable housing a matter of conscience and action. Since 1996, SCVHFH has partnered with 66 families towards home ownership, and is leading the industry in cold climate-sustainable, affordable, single-family housing.
