MCC Hunger Dialogue VISTA

Maine Campus Compact (MCC) is a coalition of 18 member campuses whose purpose is to catalyze and lead a movement to reinvigorate the public purposes and civic mission of higher education. We seek to transform our campuses in ways that develop better informed, active citizen problem-solvers, stronger communities, and a more just democratic society. We believe that our campuses must be vital agents and architects of a flourishing democracy. MCC’s VISTA Program is focused on the development of high-quality, sustainable programs on campuses throughout Maine with the aim to increase access to, and success during, higher education for low income individuals through programs focused on improving college aspirations, increasing civic engagement among students, faculty and staff, and increasing access to higher education for low-income individuals. MCC is currently recruiting for a team of 9 VISTAs to serve at host site campuses across the beautiful state of Maine.
