CEDAM's VISTA program- VISTA Leader position
 
 
 
The Community Economic Development Association of Michigan (CEDAM) is a statewide membership organization whose goal is to help our ,more than 200 member organizations solve problems on the local level. Our office is located in Lansing, MI. CEDAM hosts a 10 member, statewide VISTA program and is looking for a VISTA leader to help us build upon the great work done by previous VISTA leaders. Founded in 2016, CEDAM's AmeriCorps VISTA program places members at organizations where they can increase capacity by creating or expanding anti-poverty initiatives.

Member Duties : Leaders must have successfully completed a full term of service with AmeriCorps, VISTA, NCCC or Peace Corps. The VISTA Leader will work in partnership with the program director to build the sustainability of CEDAM's VISTA project. The VISTA Leader will be an integral part of the program by creating program documents, creating and facilitating member training, participating in member recruitment and outreach, providing member support and working on behind the scenes program development. Specific projects include program branding and marketing and developing member training. This position is perfect for someone who wants to build their skills in the nonprofit field. CEDAM invests in our AmeriCorps members, and will work with the VISTA Leader to ensure that professional development goals are met. Our goal is that the VISTA Leader finishes their term with expertise to help them find a job after their service.
