DREAM - Program Empowerment Directors

Welcome to an organization that is awesome. We dream big, have a lot of fun, believe all youth can thrive, have a relentless focus on families in affordable housing, are ready to go the extra mile to make change, and like to be bold, fun, energetic, goofy, outrageous, thoughtful and optimistic. Maybe you’d like to join us? We are seeking three Program Empowerment Directors for our recently launched Philadelphia office. DREAM is a youth development organization that works to change the life outcomes of youth living in low-income housing developments by providing high quality, college campus based Village Mentoring, summer enrichment programming, local and regional adventures, support for post-secondary success, and an unwavering commitment to some of our most vulnerable youth. DREAM recruits college student volunteer to serve as mentors to youth living in affordable housing. All DREAM youth receive consistent, year-round DREAM programming, from elementary school through high school graduation and into college and career. DREAM believes in the adage that “it takes a village to raise a child” and takes a more community oriented approach to mentoring, building a strong social support network around each youth participant. DREAM is a small but growing organization seeking to increase its impact and reach in Philadelphia. DREAM’s Local Community Programs (groups of college students mentoring children living in affordable housing communities in close proximity to the college or university) are the heart of the organization. The primary responsibility of Program Empowerment Directors is to ensure that mentors have necessary resources, training and support to run an amazing mentoring program and empower children to DREAM big.
