Alumni Engagement Associate for EVkids

The EVkids mission is help low-income, academically vulnerable children and teens achieve their academic and personal potential. EVkids builds a community of support for each student, grades 4-12, and matches them with motivated, trained, and supported university student volunteers for multi-year, 1-on-1 academic mentoring relationships. These relationships are supported by professional family and school advocacy. EVkids also hosts an overnight summer camp that inspires in youth a sense of self, a sense of community, and a sense of the world around them. With our efforts to keep kids in school and thriving, 100% of EVkids high school seniors over the last 10 years have graduated high school and gone on to college.
