Greeley Dream Team

The Greeley Dream Team is a non-profit organization that has worked collaboratively with Greeley-Evans School District 6 since our inception in 1987. Our mission is To Partner with the Community to Help Children Succeed in School. Our agency currently serves a diverse population of over 1,100 students many of whom are from first generation and limited-income families. Our current programs include Educational Talent Search, Discovery: The Peer Leadership Program, Dream Team at Bella Romero Academy of Applied Technology, and the Teen Parent Class at Jefferson Alternative High School. The Educational Talent Search (ETS) program is a federally funded TRiO program that encourages students to continue and graduate from high school and enroll in programs of post-secondary education. Over 700 students are recruited and served by the ETS program in Greeley-Evans School District 6. The Greeley Dream Team, Inc. and Bella Romero Academy of Applied Technology provides for an Advisor to work with 60 students in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade to promote academic achievement, positive attendance & behavior results, and graduation completion. Discovery: The Peer Leadership Program is at Jefferson Alternative High School serving all students with a series of positive “life-skill” classes promoting positive communication, problem solving, team building, critical thinking skills and much more. In addition to our other programs, we also facilitate the Teen Parent Class, serving approximately 30 students and their children annually. Along with these programs, The Greeley Dream Team facilitates multiple special events and activities including our Annual Honors Scholars Awards Banquet, Fairway to the Future Golf Tournament, Student Inductions, Parent Orientations, Workshops, and more. The staff is also committed to community outreach and working collaboratively to help solve problems and provide solutions to help children succeed in school.
