Pine Ridge Promise Zone - Youth
 
 
 
Oyate Teca is an American Indian led, non-profit organization centrally located on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota. It provides local, grassroots, culturally-based programming to the youth in that area of that reservation. This program will impact poverty by providing youth with a safe, secure environment to engage in constructive activities with caring adults, mentors, and their peers. Thus, allowing youth to prepare to make positive choices and experience success.

Member Duties : Coordinate with the Youth Activities Specialist for the summer youth activities of Oyate Teca. Develop systems for the afterschool youth activities provided by Oyate Teca. Coordinate with Youth Activities Coordinator for the quarterly and cultural events/classes youth that Oyate Teca.
