ShareCorps-Akron Canton FB-PantryTrak Training Coordinator

The mission of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is to lead a collaborative network that empowers people to experience healthy and hunger-free lives. We distribute food to feed people and we advocate, engage and convene our community in the fight to end hunger. The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank provides food and other essential items to member agencies in eight Northeast Ohio counties: Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne. These member agencies operate 500 food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters and other hunger-relief programs in the neighborhoods and communities where people need food. The Foodbank envisions a thriving community free of hunger.

Member Duties : PantryTrak Training Coordinator job duties include: • Participate in PantryTrak training program with PantryTrak developers to build technical expertise and proficiency in system operation • Develop training materials in coordination with PantryTrak developer • Coordinate and facilitate network-wide training sessions to member agencies • Promote the use of PantryTrak with member agencies • Share the knowledge, tools and ability to use PantryTrak’s data reporting system with member agencies • Provide ongoing technical support to ensure effective use of the system • Perform other duties, as assigned
