Santa Fe Collective Impact - Birth to Career
 
 
 
Opportunity Santa Fe aspires to improve the lives and key transitions of children and youth across Santa Fe, from birth until they enter their careers. The joint collective impact effort is supported by the Santa Fe Community Foundation and the City of Santa Fe. To learn more about the work, visit www.opportunitysantafe.org. VISTAs will support various areas across the spectrum of Birth to Career including Early Childhood, K-12, Youth Resiliency, Mentoring and Tutoring, Out of School Time, School Attendance, and Career Pathways VISTAs will: 1.Support collective impact partners in planning and implementation of collaborative community outreach, program coordination, and system improvement efforts. 2.Develop communication materials to advance understanding of the current birth to career related issues. 3. Assist with planning, outreach and implementation of community engagement activities. 4. Assist partners in implementing targeted community outreach activities and events 5.Create and/or update multi-media community outreach tools. 6. Support providers and partners in recruiting or providing resource information to parents/families for the programs. 7. Support data collection, analysis and reporting. 8. Assist with development of evaluation tools. In addition to the activities related to assigned program areas, all VISTA members will be engaged in supporting broad project goals and activities including organization of Community and Youth Summits, issue-based forums or community fairs, communication in eNews and social media, and data collection and management related to their work areas, including performance measures, to assess both short-term and long-term impact of the work being conducted.
