Center For Family Services (CFS) is a large and exciting nonprofit human services agency based in Camden City, NJ. CFS provides counseling, parenting education, substance abuse treatment, safe and supportive housing, early childhood education, and crisis intervention to children, individuals, and families throughout New Jersey. Due to recent growth/expansion, CFS is seeking support from AmeriCorps VISTAs to build the capacity of our administrative infrastructure, as well as the infrastructure of new programs. This AmeriCorps VISTA Member will utilize interpersonal, writing, editing, and organizational skills to increase the visibility of Center For Family Services programs, activities, and services throughout Camden County by writing and distributing press releases, PSA’s and client success stories, building relationships with local media, crafting social media posts, and assisting with special events as necessary. This position requires pre-service drug screening and criminal background checks.

Member Duties : This AmeriCorps VISTA Member will 1) Develop and disseminate press releases, public service announcements, and success stories; 2) Increase Center For Family Services’ social media presence; and 3) Develop Electronic Press Release system. This position requires pre-service drug screening and criminal background checks.
