Volunteer Houston–Child Advocates of Montgomery County VISTA
 
 
 
Volunteer Houston VISTA members will expand their host sites’ organizational capacity to effectively engage volunteers and expand services. Members will enable our partners to build lasting volunteer infrastructure by creating the processes and tools needed to effectively access and utilize valuable volunteer program resources. At the same time, more opportunities will be created for community volunteers to engage in meaningful service to under-resourced communities to support efforts to alleviate poverty in Greater Houston. This member will expand and improve the Child Advocates of Montgomery County's ability to provide services to abused and neglected children by increasing public awareness, fund development, and volunteer capacity.

Member Duties : The VISTA will make communications more efficient by developing, implementing, and measuring In- Bound Marketing procedures, including but not limited to: blog development & publication, website, search engine, and social media profile optimization, and database collaboration. The VISTA will support the organization’s presence in the community by enhancing events to upgrade development. Develop creative and innovative interactive digital resources for use on the website and social media platforms based on current resources available for Advocates and the general public about the mission, scope of work, and community need of the organization. communication, and logistics for special events.
