Community Prosperity Initiative - CenterState CEO
 
 
 
The Community Prosperity Initiative (CPI) was created by CenterState CEO’s Economic Inclusion team in partnership with key Syracuse community development organizations in order to develop the capacity of local nonprofits while working together to build a strong and resilient city. CPI’s long-term vision is to develop a diverse set of community revitalization strategies guided by organizations who share resources to collaboratively address collective challenges. Each VISTA will serve a unique partner organization while receiving further support from CenterState CEO. The sites that make up the initiative are Cooperative Federal Credit Union, Home HeadQuarters, Jubilee Homes of Syracuse, Inc., NEHDA, Inc., and CenterState CEO. VISTA benefits include standard AmeriCorps supports as well as access to community immersion experiences. Serving with CenterState CEO: CenterState CEO's Economic Inclusion team is dedicated to creating thriving communities through increased prosperity for all Central New York residents. Serving with CenterState CEO: The CenterState CEO Economic Inclusion VISTA will assist in fostering a stronger and more connected environment by: 1. Research national trends in economic inclusion and participate in relevant networks that advance the mission of Inclusion and its associated programs 2. Provide support for Economic Inclusion programs, helping them develop in ways that incorporate stakeholder feedback while developing templates and processes that allow the work to be scaled and replicated 3. Assist with communications across programs and with external partners 4. Assist Economic Inclusion staff in identifying and applying for grants VISTAs will also engage the other partner sites and assist in building processes to harness opportunities for collaboration.

Assist with communications across programs and with external partners 4. Assist Economic Inclusion staff in identifying and applying for grants 6. Assist in other CenterState CEO Economic Inclusion programs and projects on an ongoing basis
