Economic Opportunity Assoc.- Community Vision (Portland, OR)

Community Vision, located in Portland, Oregon, serves individuals with disabilities to increase their independence and self-determination. AmeriCorps VISTA members perform only indirect service; interaction with clients will be limited and the member will spend the majority of his or her time in an office setting. However, the Community Vision VISTA will play a dynamic role in ending poverty by assisting in building organizational capacity by providing financial asset building opportunities for low-income individuals experiencing disabilities. This includes community outreach, and assistance with fund development for these programs. As a Community Vision VISTA you will be part of a cohort coordinated by Mercy Corps Northwest. Early applications strongly encouraged. Selections made on a rolling basis.
