GLISTEN AmeriCorps Member

Through GLISTEN, AmeriCorps Members provide direct environmental service to public and private non-profit organizations and agencies that are engaged in restoration and stewardship of the Great Lakes ecosystem. During the summer, GLISTEN's AmerCorps Members work intensively with these organizations and agencies on restoration and stewardship projects. During the academic year, some Members continue working on these projects individually. Others, when they return to their Northeast Ohio high schools and colleges in the fall, collaborate with faculty and teachers to engage their peers in environmental service-learning activities that benefit those organizations.
