20-21 Mountains to Sound Greenway Field Associate

As a member of the Greenway Trust Stewardship Program, you’ll have the opportunity to serve with a highly successful team in an energetic, productive, and fast-paced environment. Through extensive hands-on opportunities, you will learn about ecological issues on public natural lands and empower students through informal environmental education. Field Associates serve across Restoration, Volunteer, and Education programs. Engaging over 4,000 volunteers annually and teaching over 3,000 4th-12 grade students in classroom and field based lessons across King County. Our programs operate year round, giving individuals the opportunity to steward public lands through tree plantings, invasive plant removal, trail construction and maintenance, and other enhancement projects from Puget Sound to Central Washington. Field Associates also lead efforts in restoration site maintenance, vegetation monitoring, and operations of the Greenway's Native Plant Nursery. Field Associates also support programs by tracking education, volunteer, and restoration metrics in Salesforce, assist in curating the Greenway Trust's photo library, updating and creating education and outreach materials. Interviews are expected to take place in July of 2020.
