Member Duties : The John Wesley Powell River History Museum VISTA will work to increase the capacity and sustainability of education programs through grant writing, fund raising, and evaluation. The VISTA will use theories and models in the field of education to further the educational development of youth in Green River. In this capacity, the VISTA will collaborate with the education manager and local schools to improve, create, and evaluate school based curriculum. The VISTA will also work with the director of the museum to improve the capacity and sustainability of education programs through grant writing and fund raising strategies. They will work to create evaluation processes for education programs and develop strategies to ensure overall sustainability of the museum's mission.
