ServiceWork VISTA Leader 2016
 
 
 
The VISTA Leader will provide training, peer development, and support to national Service Works AmeriCorps VISTAs to support the success of their projects and connect them to national efforts related to their projects. ServiceWorks VISTAs will develop a youth service and employability training program to provide professional development, networking, and project management skills, ultimately increasing employability for young adults (16-24 year-olds) participating in the program. VISTAs will engage volunteers to support training provision, mentorship and long-term program sustainability.

Member Duties : **Projected Service Start Date: August 1, 2016** *Must have 1 year VISTA experience.*Provide resources for personal/professional development, as well as collect, develop, and disseminate tools and resources for national ServiceWorks AmeriCorps VISTAs to support the success of their projects and the overall ServiceWorks initiative, with a specific focus on technology.*With the Programs Team, develop resources/tools to support VISTA members during their service/training. *Support and facilitate member communication, best practice sharing, peer to peer engagement and networking – particularly development and support of implementation of systems and processes that facilitate great story telling and programmatic record-keeping.* With Director of Marketing & Communications for ServiceWorks, manage Social Media avenues (Facebook, Twitter and Blog) *Support national service day implementation and participate in national service days, including MLK Day of Service and AmeriCorps Week.
