Live Healthy Trenton

About Live Healthy Trenton In 2012, Trenton Healthy Food and Fitness (THFFN) was established by the NJ Partnership for Healthy Kids Trenton to provide residents and practitioners to collaborate and coordinate programming. As the program grew it expanded to become Live Healthy Trenton’s (LHT), which continued to be comprised of nonprofit, government, faith-based, and community organizations who work to improve major health outcomes in Trenton and is funded by the RWJ Foundation. This is a New Jersey Campus Compact Statewide Collective Impact AmeriCorps VISTA Project. With our college and university partners, New Jersey Campus Compact is building a cohort of AmeriCorps VISTA members to support the anti-poverty work of 14 large-scale, cross-sector organizations focused on increasing education, economic opportunity, and healthy futures in NJ’s underserved urban areas. We seek a qualified, civic-minded individual to be the AmeriCorps VISTA serving at Live Healthy Trenton.
