Participating in the initiative are Rutgers academic departments and faculty, local nonprofits, public school teachers and administrators, community colleges, and the community itself. This is a New Jersey Campus Compact Statewide Collective Impact AmeriCorps VISTA Project. With our college and university partners, New Jersey Campus Compact is building a cohort of AmeriCorps VISTA members to support the anti-poverty work of 14 large-scale, cross-sector organizations focused on increasing education, economic opportunity, and healthy futures in NJ’s underserved urban areas. We seek a qualified, civic-minded individual to be the AmeriCorps VISTA serving at Rutgers The Collaborative’s 0-21 Cradle to College Initiative.
