Newark City of Learning Collaborative

About Newark City of Learning Collaborative Newark City of Learning Collaborative (NCLC) is a postsecondary collective impact network of 60 plus nonprofits, government, corporate, philanthropic, higher education, public school, and community-based organizations. NCLC is committed to increasing the percentage of Newark residents with postsecondary degrees, certificates, and high quality credentials from the current 17 percent to 25 percent by 2025. To accomplish this broad goal, NCLC identifies strategic sub-goals, leads communication and research, and coordinates the network. This is a New Jersey Campus Compact Statewide Collective Impact AmeriCorps VISTA Project. With our college and university partners, New Jersey Campus Compact is building a cohort of AmeriCorps VISTA members to support the anti-poverty work of 14 large-scale, cross-sector organizations focused on increasing education, economic opportunity, and healthy futures in NJ’s underserved urban areas. We seek a qualified, civic-minded individual to be the AmeriCorps VISTA serving at the Newark City of Learning Collaborative.
