Member Duties : The AmeriCorps VISTA member will engage in research, determine which are the best deliverable activities, recruit volunteers and participants, explore funding sources, design curriculum, and evaluate project outcomes. Working with CEC staff and volunteers, VISTA will design and implement activities that are engaging and meet the educational needs of the target population. This will involve both curriculum design and aggressive marketing strategies which will attract individuals in our current programs, as well as individuals from our community who are not in our programs but need this resource. Another major task will be Volunteer recruitment. The VISTA will need to continuously look for others to learn and implement these activities, so that the programs are sustainable.
