Arizona Serve - WYGC Foundation - Development Assistant

The WYGC Foundation was created in 1986, as a separate but related 501(c)3 organization in support of the older West Yavapai Guidance Clinic. The service provider entity has been operating since 1966, bringing mental health and substance abuse services to the Prescott, AZ and surrounding areas. WYGC remains the largest local provider of mental health, crisis and addiction treatment services in western Yavapai County, serving primarily those who have low to moderate income and/or no income. The services provided by WYGC include: outpatient counseling for adults, children and families; support services for persons with serious mental illness; psychiatry services for children and adults; 16-bed psychiatric hospital for adults; vocational services for individuals with disabilities; senior peer prevention program; chemical dependency/substance abuse outpatient and 23-bed residential program; supervised and unsupervised housing; 24-hour crisis intervention; primary care; and two pharmacies. The WYGC Foundation has a current tagline that captures its vision: “Supporting Recovery, Changing Lives.” Through its support of innovative West Yavapai Guidance Clinic programs and services, the WYGC Foundation puts this vision into action. The WYGC Foundation expects to increase its fundraising capacity through the addition of a VISTA. This member will support the Development Director in meeting the six funding priorities set by the WYGC Foundation to better serve the clients of WYGC and in some areas the community as a whole. **Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, please apply immediately for consideration.**
