Harvest Against Hunger SA Thurston County Food Bank

The Thurston County Food Bank’s (TCFB) mission is to eliminate hunger in Thurston County. The Food Bank is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of community leaders. Their service area includes the urban core and growth areas around Lacey, Olympia and Tumwater. TCFB conducts a number of efforts related to fresh produce and healthy eating. Project Background Harvest Against Hunger (HAH), a program of Rotary First Harvest, connects local growers, food banks and volunteers to secure fresh produce for distribution to thousands of people throughout Washington State. HAH finds new and innovative ways to decrease waste of fresh fruits and vegetables and increase the availability of nutritious produce to food bank clients.
