Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood -- St. Paul VISTA Program

Together with the Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood (SPPN) and its partners, families are leading the charge to transform their children's school and our neighborhood. The SPPN ensures that every child has early pathways leading to college and career success. The Saint Paul Promise Neighborhood focuses on 1,450 children and their families who attend Jackson Elementary, Maxfield Elementary, Saint Paul City School, and are part of the SPPN early learning network. The goal of our VISTA project is to connect outside community partners affiliated with the SPPN into a SPPN partner school. A successful VISTA will understand, align, and ensure successful implementation of the right set of program opportunities are meeting the wishes and the desires of families and children enrolled in the SPPN partner school. The SPPN has forged partnerships with many community organizations, now we need this position to serve as the on-the-ground bridge that brings these community resources into the SPPN partner school and connects them to families and children.
