VHCB AmeriCorps -Children's Services Group Leader (UVH)
The objective of the Children’s Services Group Leader position is to aid the Children’s Services Coordinator in expanding the Children’s Services Program to provide more development and enrichment opportunities for youth and their families. Our Afterschool Program and Summer Youth Program have been very well utilized. It would also be the role of the Children’s Services Group Leader to orient and train volunteers to facilitate the additional enrichment programs to ensure program sustainability. We would also like the Children’s Services Group Leader to work with staff to continue and improve the “Go Green” effort campus wide, and to work with Children’s Services staff to develop and facilitate a fitness and wellness program. Position begins September 11th, 2017 and ends August 10th, 2018. This position is Full Time: Requires 1,700 hours and serves approximately 40 hours per week for 11 months.
