2016-17 Capital City Public Market VISTA, Boise

The Capital City Public Market (CCPM) is the largest farmers' market in Idaho, with over 150 vendors, including 15-20 refugee vendors. The VISTA member will improve integration of refugee vendors into the farmers' market. Most of the participating growers have completed agricultural training through the Global Gardens program. Some of them farm at our urban incubator farm site. The VISTA will improve systems to register growers for market and develop strategies to train growers to present competitive market displays.
