ShareCorps - Akron Canton Regional FB - Partner Development
 
 
 
The mission of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is to lead a collaborative network that empowers people to experience healthy and hunger-free lives. We distribute food to feed people and we advocate, engage and convene our community in the fight to end hunger. The Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank Foodbank provides food and other essential items to member agencies in eight Northeast Ohio counties: Carroll, Holmes, Medina, Portage, Stark, Summit, Tuscarawas and Wayne. These member agencies operate 500 food pantries, hot meal sites, shelters and other hunger-relief programs in the neighborhoods and communities where people need food. The Foodbank envisions a thriving community free of hunger. By 2025 the Foodbank and our network, in collaboration with other charitable and governmental partners, will provide access to 41 million meals, meeting the need in our service area and providing enough food for everyone struggling with hunger. Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank is a VISTA sub-site of the Ohio Association of Foodbanks ShareCorps project.

Member Duties : The Partner Development Coordinator will help develop systems to track, report and assist partner agencies in the selection and progression to different engagement and collaboration levels in the Network Partnership program. In addition, you will recruit, train, track and sustain skilled volunteers that can be deployed throughout the network of hunger relief programs as part of the Network Engagement Volunteer program.
