Member Duties : This Employment Specialist position will lay the course of action needed to identify and develop relationships within the business and service organizations. Your goal is to identify and increase the number of employers who will give our job seekers a second chance. This opportunity will take you out of the office and put you at the helm, steering the program toward success! This position will have you in the community learning and understanding the job market and resources available to job seekers. You will create, develop and maintain critical relationships that will lead our job seekers on pathways out of poverty.
Through this networking effort, not only will you build capacity for the program, your personal skill sets will be enhanced and you may meet people who can help you with your career. By helping this program open doors for our job seekers, you will open doors to people and organizations that you may not have been able to reach on your own.
