Utah Campus Compact Summer Associate- Utah Valley University

The Utah Valley University, located in Orem, Utah, VISTA Summer Associates will participate in work that will expand the capacity of our UVU PREP summer STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program. UVU PREP is in its fourth year, and we are looking for bright, motivated young people to help us grow! The Summer Associates will have a unique opportunity to grow this amazing program by facilitating activities, working with middle school students who are interested in STEM, and contributing to the overall goals of UVU PREP. Member Duties : 1) Working with Summer Prep Students and assisting instructors in providing top notch STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) education. 2) Assuring that the Summer Prep program is organized and runs smoothly. 3) Assisting with supervision of students during meaningful Summer Prep activities, such as presentations and field trips. 4) Serving as a liaison with Summer Prep students’ parents. 5) Problem solving. 6) Observation and feedback on Summer Prep program performance.
