Hattiloo Theatre

Hattiloo Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Black repertory theatre founded in 2006. Our mission is to develop a Black theatre that is accessible to, relevant to, and reflective of a multicultural community. As a Black repertory, we focus on works written by and/or about African-Americans, who, historically, have been underrepresented in the production of live theatre. We maintain a robust slate of free community education and outreach programs, including live theatre staged in neighborhoods across the city, symposiums, panel discussions, and festivals. Hattiloo touches over 2,500 people though its productions and programs annually. Key to this success is a rotation of youth programming and arts education that is relevant to the communities we serve and the challenges our youth face, especially young people of color.

Member Duties : Building on the first phase of the VISTA project, the Youth Programs and Outreach Coordinator will work with the Program Manager to revise, update, and develop program curricula, develop and implement an evaluation process, and maintain and develop community partnerships to support youth programming.
