Indiana Homelessness Continuum of Care

The Indiana Balance of State Homeless Continuum of Care (IN-BOS COC) coordinates the allocation of federal and state resources devoted to making homelessness rare, brief and non-recurring. this group supports the development and ongoing maintenance of a strategic, comprehensive system to address homelessness. The Indiana Housing & Community Development Authority has worked with our partners to establish an independent board of directors for IN-BOS COC, with representation from homeless service providers and community partners as well as formerly homeless individuals; the board also maintains an active committee structure to reach specific outcomes in furtherance of IN-BOS COC goals. IN-BOS COC also works with Regional Planning Councils throughout the state to coordinate local efforts with statewide strategy.
