PHENND - Office of Strategic Partnerships
 
 
 
PHENND (The Philadelphia Higher Education Network for Neighborhood Development) is a 25-year-old consortium of over 25 colleges and universities in the Greater Philadelphia region. The consortium actively seeks to revitalize local communities and promote civic responsibility through service learning among the region's higher education institutions. As part of our K-16 Partnerships Network, the PHENND VISTA project represents a fourth year of partnership with the School District of Philadelphia to expand the infrastructure for community partnership development across Philadelphia.

Member Duties : Work with the Office of Strategic Partnerships at the School District of Philadelphia to promote and manage policies and procedures around partnership. Serve as a liaison between external partners and key School District Officials. Work with the school-based VISTAs in the interest of collecting information about community partners and implementing new policies on partnership. Maintain OSP website (http://philaosp.weebly.com/) and continue data collection efforts for the Partnerships Census and School Snapshot projects. Contribute to the development of a comprehensive school partnerships database.
