Initiate, develop, execute and manage a comprehensive marketing and communications program at the Refugee Services of Texas, Amarillo Service Center. Create program information materials, posted and email news and solicitation letters for the purpose of raising resources, contributions and volunteers for newly resettled refugees and other displaced persons to support self-sufficiency in the Amarillo, TX area.

Member Duties : Develop templates and prepare for publication, agency materials to promote programs, volunteerism, and contributions. Calendar a series of activities to deliver an annual comprehensive marketing plan to accomplish this objective. Set up RSTX social media accounts such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram appropriate to engage constituents. Create templates, prepare for publication and distribute two donor posted and email solicitation letters. Set up and initiate donor acquisition and relationship building activities. Identify current and potential constituents including individual and family donors, churches, organizations, foundations and corporations in the local community. Prepare and deliver RSTX presentations to various constituent groups. Attend RSTX agency-wide trainings, webinars and local marketing professional seminars and events. Participate in local events & conferences such as World Refugee Day and Refugee regional convocations and AmeriCorps activities.
