Connecticut Campus Compact AmeriCorps VISTA

Connecticut Campus Compact (CTCC)’s mission is to advance the public purpose of colleges and universities by deepening their ability to implement all forms of public engagement, providing civic pathways to academic and career success, and nurturing a culture of engaged citizenship on campuses. CTCC VISTAs serve at either college/university campuses or community based organizations that address issues of educational success through building partnerships between campuses and communities. The CTCC AmeriCorps VISTA project addresses some of the major issues contributing to the educational academic achievement gap in Connecticut. VISTA candidates apply directly to CTCC to be considered for any of the host sites/assignments. Candidates will be asked for preferences after they submit an application. More information and host site descriptions can be found at http://ctcampuscompact.org/become-a-ctcc-vista/
