Habitat for Humanity—Rochester, MN (Summer Associate)

In response to the critical need for affordable housing in the Rochester, MN area, Rochester Area Habitat for Humanity (RAHFH) was established in 1990. RAHFH is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide the opportunity of home ownership for low-income working families. To date, RAHFH has built or rehabbed over 70 homes and is planning to complete an additional 3 homes this summer. RAHFH opened a ReStore--Habitat’s nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price and contribute to landfill diversion—in 2014.
