Refugee Services of Texas-Development VISTA Amarillo
 
 
 
The Refugee Services of Texas (RST) VISTA program is looking for passionate, articulate, and energetic VISTA to work in developing strong relationships with partners and donors in Amarillo, TX! RST serves over 3,000 refugees, asylees, survivors of human trafficking, and other vulnerable populations annually. The goal of this project is to build RSTs capacity to serve its clients by diversifying funding sources. In this position, you will research potential donors, conduct outreach, give presentations, and create strong relationships with past and future donors in the Amarillo area. You will be trained on the Raiser’s Edge donor management system as well as receive professional development training throughout your VISTA year. Member Duties : Initiate, develop, execute and manage a comprehensive donor acquisition program at the Refugee Services of Texas Amarillo Service Center. Build relationships with individuals, families, congregations, businesses, organizations, foundations and corporations for the purpose of raising resources for newly resettled refugees and other displaced persons to support self-sufficiency in the Amarillo, TX area.
