IT’S TIME TEXAS (itstimetexas.org) provides many programs, initiatives, and events for people, policy makers, places, and providers to help make healthy the norm in Texas! We offer the following to schools and communities across Texas. Teach Healthier Mobile App - A free app offering access to over 250 nutrition lessons with reinforcing physical activities ranging from 5 minute energizers to longer workouts and sports-related games. Growing Healthy Schools – A crowd funding web platform to raise funds and/or in-kind donations for the project. Ambassador Program: Health champions, youth and adults, throughout the state who are working to drive the cause of ITT and share our mission. Choose Healthier App & Deals: Designed to empower people to lead healthier lives and build healthier communities by presenting them with hyper-localized opportunities to take healthy action and offering discounts on access to health-related resources. Choose Healthier Coach: A hotline allowing community members to have a “personalized” Health Coach to answer basic nutrition, physical fitness, and wellness questions and provide resources for access. Additionally, the Coach will offer motivational coaching support to set and reach healthy goals. H-E-B Community Challenge: four-month competition challenges communities across the state to compete to see which can demonstrate the greatest commitment to healthy living. Healthy Texas Week: A one-week celebration of healthy living in the Lone Star State which is incorporated into the Challenge. Summit: A two-day conference in which health champions from across Texas unite to gain access to innovative tools, resources, presentations, and informational sessions designed to celebrate and improve community health. Other: Advocacy Program, Hack 4 Health, Service Days, Corporate Rallies, Out of School Time, and SHAC-in-Action, ITT Summit, Service Days, H-E-B Community Challenge, Healthy Texas Week, Hack for Health

Member Duties : The Community Programs Development Coordinator will assist with the development of programs and evaluation components for community, businesses, and related organizations. This includes the development of training materials necessary for implementation. In addition, this position will be responsible for identifying outreach efforts for various programs which will include preparing for and attending various conferences and/or events. This position will also assist with the development of strategies for building and maintaining engagement resources using methods such as a customer relationship management (CRM) system. This position will also refine and expand upon our current grants and contracts management and reporting process.
