Community Organizer: Affordable Housing Preservation Project
 
 
 
VISTA members will work with community organizers and lawyers on a national project that focuses to preserve project based section 8 buildings as affordable. The work will focus on tenant outreach, community presentations, law and organizing partnerships, and will require a self-motivated team-player who is ready to engage in these issues.

Member Duties : Community Organizers and Legal Fellows will work together to provide capacity building services to their host sites, with an emphasis on the preservation of project-based section 8 dwellings. *PLEASE INDICATE IN YOUR PERSONAL STATEMENT WHETHER YOU ARE WILLING OR INTERESTED IN RELOCATION.
