Member Duties : The Communications and Social Media Associate will improve the Foundation’s communications and social media presence. Strong writing and communication skills are necessary. The primary tasks will be researching and drafting a comprehensive communications plan for the Foundation and working with volunteers to update our website to more accurately reflect our work. Website development experience is not required, as technical support will be provided by volunteers. Other projects for this VISTA will include: expanding the reach of the Amvensys Scholars program by reaching more eligible college students; evaluating the utility of a third-party e-mail system and implementing the system if selected; researching and recommending an appropriate contact management software for the Foundation; developing and publishing a newsletter for the Foundation; drafting new text for the website and generally working to maximize the scope and reach of the Foundation’s message and impact.
