Louisiana Advocacy Corps

Louisiana Advocacy Corps AmeriCorps VISTA members work to eradicate poverty through the implementation of proven community-driven programs that improve outcomes in child well-being. Advocacy Corps members focus their service on four core areas: child well-being, children in the foster care system, education and prevention, and strengthening communities. The Advocacy Corps utilizes a statewide network of programs, partners, and stakeholders to create advocacy for vulnerable families, and create avenues to provide both children and families with resources, skills, and access to services.
