Established in 1989, Nashua PAL is a NH nonprofit, with a mission of positively connecting youth with police through quality programs that emphasize education, recreation, and community engagement. Nashua PAL’s programs include, but are not limited to; organized sports, youth leadership, community service, empowerment, and life skill building. The core of Nashua PAL’s efforts center in an inner city environment; where poverty levels are twice the national average and four times the city norm. Programs are diverse to serve a great audience of youth, ready to learn We emphasize education in all that we do, while supporting youth and families in need.

Member Duties : The VISTA position will be centered on fund development and community outreach. Working alongside the Executive Director, the chosen candidate will be working with a goal of researching new revenue sources and streamlining existing processes. This person will be; Researching and Applying for Grants, Increasing Community Support and Business Sponsorships, and Developing a Sustainable Plan for the Organization. All of this effort will go directly to supporting youth and families within a community with demonstrated need (low income/ high crime).
