Fayetteville State University's Office of College Access Programs' mission is to encourage and assist youth who are traditionally under-represented in post-secondary education with preparation for, entry into, and completion of a post-secondary education. The office is comprised of Gaining Early Awareness & Readiness for Undergraduate Programs (GEAR UP), Educational Talent Search (TRiO) Upward Bound (TRiO), Upward Bound Math & Science (TRIO) and 21st Century Community Learning Center. The Office provides a broad range of high-quality college preparatory services to students, parents, and educators.

Member Duties : The Evaluation Specialist will conduct a 1-year Office of College Access Programs self-study using the CAS standards to evaluate effectiveness and ensure quality services provided to low income students. Responsibilities include assisting the director with evaluating the success of college program services; working to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of college access efforts; supporting the strengthening accountability and risk management; and conducting and managing evaluations.
