| Member Duties : VISTA members will build capacity and create volunteer opportunities for parents and residents to participate in educational programs that will support student attendance, achievement and attitudes. Specific duties include developing systems for training tutors/volunteer leaders, developing volunteer databases, and developing recruitment plans. Corps 18 Members will work with host site and/or school staff to design, implement, coordinate and/or expanded programs in the areas of Academic and Cultural Literacy, Health and Wellness, STEM, and P.L.A.Y.
