Aniz, Inc. is a community-based nonprofit that promotes emotional and physical wellness by providing mental health and substance abuse counseling, support services, and sexual heath education. Aniz provides services to low-income underserved populations, therefore its public relations presence in the community must be reflective of and have the ability to reach its constituency. This VISTA Volunteer will consider the education level, access to marketing materials and most effective means of message delivery to the high-risk, marginalized communities we reach. Aniz seeks to implement high impact marketing strategies by implementing grass roots marketing campaigns, enhancing use of social media, and having highly visible presence at targeted HIV awareness events. Our hope is to increase the agency’s social presence and design an ANIZ smart phone App. Through coordinated public relations activities the agency seeks to raise awareness of the services we offer, recruit other low income clients, increase outside referrals to Aniz for services, recruit volunteers, and generate both in-kind and financial aid from diversified sources, thereby increasing the numbers of clients served.

Member Duties : Public Relations (marketing, social media, web presence development): This VISTA volunteer will be effective in developing and maintain Marketing and social media materials for the community as it relates to the promotion of Aniz, inc.
