Community Investments & Impact Associate- United Way/Step Up
 
 
 
The Community Investments department of UWCE is responsible for managing nearly $5M in human service programs, a process which includes the comprehensive evaluation of organizations and programs, and provision of technical assistance and other capacity-building supports. Community Investments is seeking an AmeriCorps VISTA to help facilitate and improve UWCE’s annual Request for Investment (RFI) process, and to promote measurable community impact and the strengthening of human services in the Coastal Empire.

Member Duties : Member Duties Include: Facilitation of the RFI process: •Coordinate and assist with trainings/workshops •Coordinate and assist with site visits and application review meetings •Provide technical assistance to both agencies and volunteers, as needed Improvement of the RFI process: •Research the best practices of other United Ways and develop recommendations •Expand and improve use of the grant management database, e-C Impact Promotion of the RFI process: •Develop strategies and tools to promote the success and impact of funded programs •Develop strategies and tools to improve upon and promote the investment process Other duties as assigned
