Then join the award-winning Outreach, Inc., and accomplish your objectives to grow yourself and make the world a better place in which to live. Outreach’s mission is to provide safe water, food, medical care and education to children and those in need at home and abroad. The primary activity of Outreach is volunteer-engaged meal packaging events for the hungry.

Member Duties : Members will assist in the creation of the Hunger Free Iowa Initiative and help Outreach build the organizational capacity for building a replicable model. This initiative already has the support of the Governor of Iowa and is an exciting opportunity to establish a sustainable program and create measurable social impact. The VISTA Leader will be responsible for assisting the VISTA supervisor in the development and conduction of orientations and trainings to equip VISTAs with knowledge and skills related to the project, supporting team members in their work, and supporting with member recruitment. Candidates must have completed a year long VISTA assignment to be eligible for a VISTA Leader position.
